Mia Endl Best Poster Presentation Awards

Mia Endl, a 2026 graduating senior, has earned two Best Poster Presentation awards in recognition of her undergraduate research.

Mia received Best Poster Presentation in the Cell and Molecular category at Brown University’s National Conference on Undergraduate Research (NCUR). She was also recognized with Best Poster Presentation in the Science category at the University of Notre Dame’s College of Science and Engineering Joint Annual Meeting (COS-JAM).

Her research examines the genetic mechanisms associated with progressive locomotive dysregulation in Daphnia magna. As part of the project, Mia developed an RNA interference (RNAi)-inducing bacterial-feeding regime to investigate how candidate genes interact with CRISPR-generated D. magna mutants.

These recognitions celebrate both the quality of Mia’s research and her ability to communicate complex scientific work effectively to broader research audiences.

Congratulations to Mia on these outstanding achievements.
