Biography

Chelsea began her PhD in Fall 2020 and is broadly interested in female reproductive ecology. Her thesis has two main foci: the connections between the gut microbiome, reproductive state, hormones, and reproductive outcomes; and the development and fitness consequences of social interactions with infants and adult males for adolescents. All of her research takes place in the Amboseli Baboon Research Project system. Outside of science, Chelsea enjoys hanging out with her cats Beau and Salmon, playing DnD, and hosting Survivor watch parties.
