Major(s)/Minor(s): Biological Sciences with a Concentration in Cell & Developmental Biology/Catholic Social Tradition (CST)

Research: I worked with Dr. McConnell and Dr. Pérez-Romero to help develop the Superbug CURE Introductory Lab course offered in the spring semester (I am a TA!). I now work in Dr. Patricia Champion’s Lab on the lipids secreted by M. tuberculosis.

Post-graduation plans: Graduate school for a Ph.D.

Favorite Biology/ES course: Molecular Cell Biology with Dr. Vaughn

Extracurriculars: BP Welcome Weekend committee member, BP Service & Community Outreach Commissioner, Calc A&B tutor

Advice for First-Year Biology/ES majors: Take things one step at a time! Being a Bio/ES major can be daunting, but doing new things slowly as you grow and learn is the best way to become the person you want to be.

Fun/interesting fact about yourself: I love to cook and bake, and let me know if you want to learn some dining hall hacks

Favorite part about Notre Dame: The dorm culture! I love that everyone can find a home here on campus.
