Biography

I earned my BS in Biological Sciences with a minor in Mathematics at Sam Houston State University in 2023. My research primarily focuses on predicting spatial responses of human and agricultural disease to anthropogenic change, predominantly through the use of novel mechanistic species distribution models (SDMs). In my previous research I used correlative SDMs to predict distributional shifts of Lepidopteran crop pests of concern for USDA-APHIS.
