Science and Music Series: Stem Cells and Solo Cello
Creativity in both science and music are celebrated in this new series. This event features a scientist highlighting timely topics in their field of expertise, and a musician performing a selection of diverse pieces enlightening a theme. Join us for a casual, unique experience. Short reception to follow. Cash bar available from 6:30-7:30pm.
The inaugural event will feature:
• Athanasia D. Panopoulos (Assistant Professor, Department of Biology, University of Notre Dame) who will be discussing stem cells, and highlighting some of the cutting-edge discoveries in the field.
• Josh Aerie (Cellist and Executive Director of The Music Village) who will perform works by and inspired by Bach and his seminal Suites for Solo Cello.
