I am a PhD Candidate studying fungal catheter-associated urinary tract infections (CAUTIs). My interests include fungal pathogenesis and urinary tract infections and abnormalities. I am an Arthur J. Schmitt Leadership Fellow as well as the recipient of the Eck Global Health Fellowship (2023-2025), NDIIF Imaging Award (2022), the Graduate Researcher of the Year (2023), Berthiaume Institute of Public Health Summer Fellow (Summer 2023), and Milton Huppert Graduate Student Awardee from the Medical Mycology Society of the Americas (2025). My future research focuses on the emerging fungal pathogen and healthcare threat, Candida auris.
