Biography
Anna is a second-year PhD student originally from Kansas, where she earned her BS in Biochemistry from the University of Kansas. She is currently working in Dr. Chris Patzke's molecular neurobiology lab, which investigates intellectual disabilities at the synaptic level. Her research centers on Fragile X Syndrome and schizophrenia. The Patzke Lab uses human induced pluripotent stem cells to visualize human neurons.
Outside of her research, Anna enjoys reading, crocheting, and spending time with her dog, Leroy.
