Bradley Jones
Champion Lab
Biography
Bradley is a fifth year Ph.D. Candidate in the lab of Dr. Patricia Champion. His research focuses on mycobacterial lysine acetyltransferases and the post-translational protein modifications mediated by these enzymes. He utilizes genetic and molecular biology based approaches to understand how acetylation impacts iron uptake, lipid synthesis, and ESX-1 type VII secretion mechanisms critical to mycobacterial virulence and pathogenesis.
Bradley hopes to transition to the clinical space as a CPEP Fellow upon completion of his degree.
