Academic Interests:
I am interested in leveraging metabolic and dietary interventions to modulate disease microenvironments, enhance cancer immunotherapy, and reverse immunosuppression within the tumor microenvironment. I am also investigating diet-regulated epigenetic therapies and mitochondrial bioenergetics to counter transcriptional silencing and cellular dysfunction in neurodegenerative diseases like Friedreich’s Ataxia. My current and future projects incorporate organoid cultures and mitochondrial functional assays to identify novel therapeutic targets at the intersection of metabolism, epigenetics, and disease progression.
