Research: Dr. Nicole Achee’s laboratory where I have presented on and published an independent project examining the way land cover change has impacted R. sanguineus ticks

Post-graduation plans: Hopefully medical school! I am applying right now during this cycle, so I am hoping to be in school at this time next year.

Favorite Biology/ES course: Neurobiology of Pain with Dr. Diane Lane

Extracurriculars: I am a tour guide, an undergraduate research assistant, involved in myriad of pre-med clubs, and a volunteer at multiple different hospitals.

Advice for First-Year Biology/ES majors: Try to network with upperclassmen! They have tons of great advice on classes, service opportunities, and ideas for future career goals.

Fun/interesting fact about yourself: I used to play basketball, lacrosse, and tennis in highschool.

Favorite part about Notre Dame: The school spirit! I love how people wear ND merch everyday because they are so proud to be at our school.
