Biography

I study neuroscience, specifically dorsal root ganglia (DRG), where my research investigates the innate limitations of DRG regeneration in zebrafish after neuronal injuries. This research incorporates inducing laser-mediated injuries while studying the roles of genetic and molecular components involved in regeneration attempts. I am also investigating another gene and its role in the proper development of DRG.
