Biography

Laurel is a PhD Candidate in the Koepfli Lab studying malaria and the mosquitoes that carry and transmit the disease. Specifically, her work focuses on understanding and identifying malaria transmission patterns between mosquitoes and their human hosts in Ethiopia. Outside of the lab, Laurel enjoys spending time with family and friends, backpacking, golfing, and trying new recipes.
