Biography
Lauren Mayer is a PhD candidate in the IBMS department at Notre Dame. Her research focuses on immunology, specifically within inflammatory bowel disease. Lauren is a member of the Notre Dame Synchronized Skating Team and has earned 3 teaching certificates from the Notre Dame Kaneb Center. She hopes to become a teaching professor upon graduation in the field of psychoneuroimmunology, immunology, and/or mathematics for life scientists.
