Biography
Max's research is focused on understanding how plant communities in Midwest U.S. ecosystems respond to varying climate conditions and management strategies. More specifically, he is interested in the efficacy of restoring tallgrass prairies; whether current management strategies are effective at restoring plant community composition, structure, and function of these ecosystems; and if they will continue to be under future climate conditions.
