I am interested in changing ecosystem dynamics due to disturbance and environmental change, especially in terrestrial ecosystems. My approaches scale from plot based surveys of local communities to ecosystem wide remote sensing analyses. I emphasize modelling as a tool to explain and predict ecosystem change.
