Research: I work in Dr. Patricia Champion’s lab. Our lab focuses on identifying protein substrates secreted by mycobacterial Type VII secretion systems, with a specific focus on ESX-1.

Advice for First-Year Biology/ES majors: Don’t be afraid to ask for help! Go to as many office hours as you can if not for help then to get to know your professor a little more
