Dr. Qinghua Zhao is a disease ecologist currently conducting postdoctoral research in Dr. Jason Rohr's lab. He earned his Ph.D. in Ecology from Wageningen University, Netherlands, in 2021. Dr. Zhao's research focuses on identifying early warning signals of infectious disease outbreaks and understanding the critical roles of anthropogenic activities. A primary objective of his work is to identify reliable indicators to predict and prevent disease outbreaks before they escalate into pandemics, thereby reducing financial burdens and enhancing public health.
