Project Title: Evaluation of Human Cytomegalovirus UL1 as an Immunogenic Target for Antibody-Mediated Protection
Career Plans: I plan to pursue a career in medicine as a physician-scientist, with the long-term goal of becoming a cardiothoracic surgeon. My research interests surround the intersection of immunology and cardiology.
Summer Experiences: I performed research in the Tran lab at UMass Chan Medical School, where I led a project assessing the relationship between inflammatory biomarkers and POAF through porcine models, 3D cardiac organoid explants, and clinical patient serum.
