Biography

I am BYU-Idaho alum with a B.S. in Biology. Here I specialized in zebrafish research on neural crest cell migration and its relation to cancer under Dr. Caleb Baily. After graduating I Interned at ISU with Dr. Jarrod Barrott studying mechanisms of cancer progression in Sarcoma Models. Following the internship I worked as an adjunct faculty instructing students on antibiotic discovery research at BYU-Idaho. I now work with Dr. Jianneng Li studying hormone-related cancers. We are working to enhance current treatments and discover the underlying mechanisms of resistance. After graduation I hope to pursue a professorship, as I have a love for teaching.
