Earned a BS in Biology at Hope College where I earned a Vanderwerf Scholarship and made the Dean's list for 6 semesters; also received a MS in MCDB at University of Michigan in 2025. I've previously researched yeast pseudohyphae growth in response to nitrogen starvation, mycobacteriophage genome evolution, and phagosome survival for C. neoformans. I'm interested in microbiology, molecular biology, and protein signaling pathways. I plan to become a professor of an institution with a research focus of pathogens.
