Major(s)/Minor(s): Environmental Science, Catholic Social Tradition
Research: Amphibian Assemblages in St. Joseph County Kettle Lakes Corridor, Stream and Wetland Ecology (SWEL) Lab
Post-graduation plans: I intend on completing a year of service with the Jesuit Volunteer Corps Northwest. After that, I would love to work for a nonprofit organization involved in land management, restoration, and/or wildlife conservation. I am increasingly drawn to the southeast and the Appalachians and would love to live and work there long term. I also would love to spend some time abroad in eastern Europe shortly after I graduate.
Favorite Biology/ES course: Restoration Ecology or Aquatic Ecology Lab
Extracurriculars: Notre Dame Men’s Rugby, Head Chef of Alumni Hall’s Dawg Pizza, Radio Show Host (WSND 88.9 FM Thursday’s 11pm-12am), The Musicians Network, Alumni Hall ResLife Senior Fellow
Advice for First-Year Biology/ES majors: If you think a class sounds interesting, take it! Also, consider an interdisciplinary minor such as (shameless plug) Catholic Social Tradition.
Fun/interesting fact about yourself: I’ve lived in 3 different states and 2 different countries. Come practice your German with me sometime, if you are so inclined!
