Honors Research Program
The goal of the Honors program is to give interested students an exceptional experience in biological research. Participation in this program will increase their level of commitment and productivity while preparing them for successful postgraduate careers. The program is specifically designed for students going into research careers in graduate school, M.D./Ph.D. programs, or medical school with a significant research component.
Biological and Environmental Sciences majors are encouraged to identify a research mentor and project during their sophomore year, but final applications into the program should be completed during the fall of their junior year. Application materials (cover letter, research statement, unofficial transcript, and nomination form from Research Mentor) are due by November 11. Please complete this form to submit your application.
